1 Definition
A missing or incorrect single shipment identifier defect is triggered when the submitted advance shipment notification does not have a single shipment identifier (PRO or BOL, or Amazon reference number), or has an incorrect identifier that does not map with any appointments. [1]
Single shipment identifier[1]: PRO or BOL for Prepaid; Amazon reference number for Collect. Applies to both TL and LTL.

Prepaid — you and your carrier must provide the same identifier (PRO or BOL) on both the ASN and the appointment signal before trailer check-in [1]
Collect — provide accurate Amazon reference numbers on the ASN before trailer check-in [1]
If the carrier modifies the PRO or BOL, resubmit the ASN with the current value [1]
Ensure pallet/box label text matches the ASN exactly — watch for typos and missing characters[2]

Chargebacks incurred in a given week (Sunday to Saturday) are automatically waived if the previous 12-week average "missing or incorrect single shipment identifier" compliance is 95%[1]
